Part 4: Perfect Aire Portable Air Conditioner Review – Pros & Cons
Pros for the Perfect Aire Portable Air Conditioner:
- They are made from the highest quality standards for longevity, reliability, dependability and efficiency
- Low level of quiet operation which is ideal at night time when you need to get some uninterrupted sleep
- The remote feature includes all that one would need such as the auto restart function, sleep modes, 24 hour timers and adjusting cooling speeds and temperatures.
- The filters are easily accessible and washable and there are also the sturdy roll casters which work great in moving it around your home
Cons for the Perfect Aire Portable Air Conditioner:
- Some minor issues have been raised about the drainage which should be noted – not many cases but should be mentioned all the same.
- The vent could be attached a little better as it is a little flimsy and detaches too easily
- Customer services issues could have been dealt with a lot better and quicker when it comes to resolving some of the minor issues seen but resolved in the end nonetheless.
Part 5: Conclusion & Feedback Submission
Conclusion:
Do we recommend it? It is certainly not the best Portable Air Conditioner that we have seen but it still does the job as expected. There may be more draining than expected and the vent could be a little better but apart from that, we cannot fault it so yes, we would recommend it. There is a good selection of models available covering different sized areas to choose from as outlined with the 4 models provided above and the price range compares very well against other more recognized brands in the industry.

Thanks a lot for the detailed and informative review.I was doing some research online on Portable Air Conditioner and found your helpful review. I got helpful insights here. The description, comparison, ratings and pros & cons you shared are very helpful in my decision making. for a Portable Air Conditioner. 12,000 BTU sounds interesting. I loved how easy the review makes it for readers and no additional research needed. You left no stone up-turned in explaining how it all works so thanks for that
Thank you – your review was really helpful to me. I need something portable like this for my home office. I spend a great deal of time in my office and I thought it would be much more cost efficient to purchase a portable machine for heating and cooling purposes as opposed to keeping the entire house at the perfect temperature at all times.
The best option for me would be the Perfect Aire 12,000BTU with heater. My office is fairly large and I want to be able to use it in the winter months when it can get drafty too. Thanks again!

Wow! I love your well detailed and honest review about this product. I got it not too long ago, and to be honest it’s a very good buy for me. This unit works excellent well.. it does not produce a gallon of water in 4-5 hours and it cools 300-350 sq ft in reasonable time. Do I recommend it based on my experience for 2 months now? A big Yes. Nice laid out review, enjoying reading it! spot on
Hello, we bought a Perfect Aire Portable Air Conditioner 1 year ago, a 14k BTU, for $599 + tax at Kent’s Building Supplies. I used it 3 months off and on, we don’t get a lot heatwaves here in Nova Scotia so it was probably used a few times a week for 3 months, then we put it away for the winter in our apartment closest, we pulled it out last week because the heat was getting a bit much to bare. Well we ran it for 3 hours and we could smell something burning like plastic. After turning it off and unplugging we looked at the back of the unit, and the grill for ventilation was melted. Just 2 weeks over the 1 year warranty. I would not recommend this brand and would advise anyone using one, to not leave it unattended. Certainly don’t leave it turned on while you are sleeping or if you go outside in the back yard for any length of time. I repeat don’t leave it un attended. WE have a older Kenmore unit that we have had for 5 years now and still works great, just not as cold as it used to be. This is why we bought a new Perfect Aire. We cannot get any hep with the Perfect Aire, cannot figure out who manufactured the unit. Kent’s will not help as it is just 2 weeks over the warranty. Perhaps we got a LEMON however buyers be aware and please don’t leave your unit unattended.
