Part 3: EZ Inflatable Bed Review – Pros and Cons

Pros for the EZ Inflatable Bed:

  1. One great thing is the fact that it can inflate and fold out all by itself when the pump is hooked up so the labour and work involved is minimal in our opinion.
  2. If there are any accidents with children or sharp objects, it includes a handy repair kit that works well in patching everything up once again.
  3. It is quite heavy so the transport wheels and the carry case come in handy when it comes to moving it around your home or into your friend’s home
  4. Another thing you will like is how quickly it works – basically in under 3 minutes you have a spare bed ready to go unlike the manual pumped air mattresses that take considerably longer
  5. If your living spaces are extremely tight, then you can also choose the single bed version instead of the double and save some money also in the process as the single comes in a good deal cheaper than the double.

Cons for the EZ Inflatable Bed:

  1. The noise related to the pump can be a little too loud or annoying for some to bear. It wasn’t all that bad for us but it may annoy others.
  2. The weight and portability is heavier that what we expected so please bear this in mind, it is heavier than you think where the single is 19.5kgs and the double version comes in at 21.5kgs
  3. Deliveries are not available to BFPO addresses
  4. Stock availability tends to be quite good but tends to be out of stock also when discounted at promotional prices – so deliveries can take a lot longer
  5. Getting it fully deflated and getting the zip around the corners could be a little easier to do
  6. If you get a small puncture hole, it can be more difficult than expected to locate it and repair it
  7. The repair kit was missing in the pack on isolated occasions and in some cases the reliability of the mattress keeping the air in was disappointing

Part 4: Conclusion & Feedback Submission Opportunity

Conclusion:

Do we recommend EZ Inflatable Beds? After testing it out, inflating it, sleeping on it for a night and then deflating it we can say a definite yes. We were very impressed with the ease and quickness of how the spare bed was assembled in no time at all and it is a lot more comfortable that we thought it would be. It costs a lot more than the basic air mattresses but for an easier life, I would definitely buy this again especially when it can be folded away in the case so neatly out of sight when not in use. It is certainly an impressive piece and you will certainly not be disappointed

  1. We recently changed mattresses and had to get a new kids mattress for my little fella, so this review comes at an opportune time. The EZ Inflatable bed does look to offer considerable comfort and flexibility in terms of how and where it can be used. Great for planned visits or those split second decisions if you have family and friends who want to crash for the evening. Price-wise it is not too bad, but competitive with alternatives.

  2. I have had air mattresses before and they were OK, but none of them came with a frame. I would love to have one of these handy for visits. I have a son who will be leaving for college soon, and I want to have somewhere for him to sleep when he comes home to visit.  I see this is a UK item, but I am in the US. Does this bed come in a US compatible version or does the manufacturer offer some kind of adapter? Gwendolyn J

    • Yes, there are similar versions and adapters available in the US also – do a quick search on Amazon and you will find what you are looking for. Thanks, Paul
